Climate Resilient Cities and Infrastructures 2018 – Final Conference of the RESIN Project

The Climate Resilient Cities and Infrastructures 2018, the final conference for the RESIN project takes place on the 9th of October 2018.

IMPREX will be there to see the latest developments of practical and applicable tools which help cities to design and implement climate adaptation strategies for their localised contexts.  RESIN will contribute in informing the mid-term revision the EU Adaptation Strategy and other relevant EU-level policy processes. Furthermore, the project results will create resources for urban adaptation, which will lay a new foundation for standardisation in this field.

The conference’s programme is packed full of interesting sessions which will delve into a host of topics which are very relevant for IMPREX.

Speakers and representations will include Arnoldas Miliukas (Head of Unit, H2020 Environment and Resources, EASME) and city representatives of Greater Manchester, Bilbao, Paris, Lahti, Ghent, Rotterdam and Bratislava, including Bratislava's Chief Architect Ingrid Konrad.

The UN-Habitat, Covenant of Mayors and the European Environment Agency will provide expert insights into climate adaptation from a European and international perspective along with Europe's leading researchers discussing climate adaptation and how to pave the way for future work in the field. The conference is an official side event of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

We’ll be promoting IMPREX at the event.

We’re ready to discuss with you!
